Vehicle-Grid Integration (VGI) is the key enabler of the EV revolution. It helps to lower the upfront investment into the upgrade of the existing electric distribution and power infrastructure and creates an opportunity to generate additional savings/revenues through participation in incentive programs.
The EV Charging Living Lab is a platform for Smart Charging of EVs of all kinds (motorcycles, passenger cars, public transportation, commercial vehicles, boats, etc.) and the integration of EV Charging with power grids of buildings, homes, and cities. The purpose of this initiative is to engage key players and together develop best practices while establishing the path to global interoperability. Hager and IoTecha are looking for partners interested in participating in this important work. We expect this living lab to provide us with an opportunity to learn together and develop practices that will lead to an improved consumer experience and accelerate the momentum of the EV market driven by CCS with ISO/IEC 15118.
