2023 saw many pivotal advancements and milestones in the global world of electric vehicles and EV charging technology. We at IoTecha are proud of our contribution to this forward momentum.
Bidirectional EV charging has become a commercial reality, as evidenced through our collaborations with Hager Group and Volkswagen and through the Mobilize Powerbox bidirectional charging station with Renault Group and Software Republique, featuring respectively ISO/IEC 15118-powered DC Vehicle-to-Home and AC Vehicle-to-Grid and Vehicle-to-Home technology.
The need for interoperability has gained widespread recognition, as industry and regulators coalesce around open standards, including ISO 15118, CCS, and J3400. Our journey in 2023 also featured the launch of the ISO 15118-20 version of our V2G protocol analyzer and achieving successful interoperability tests, including Plug and Charge and Multi PKI, at key industry events such as VOLTS 2023 and CharIN NA Testival.
Finally, we’ve continued to innovate and expand our portfolio of cost-effective, interoperable, and field-proven smart charging solutions. We deployed our state-of-the-art topology-aware Energy Management Plaza cloud and edge service, we introduced our new Level 2 AC Charger platform (with a reduced price tag and improved cybersecurity), and we partnered with industry experts to bring a complete array of unattended payment solutions.
We could not have done this without you. Through collaboration, partnerships, and ambitious projects, we moved the EV Charging industry forward and brought our world one step closer to a sustainable future.
