IoTecha applauds the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Highway Administration

IoTecha applauds the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) for recognizing the importance of CCS and ISO 15118 through their decision to require these standards under the NEVI program.
This is a clear validation of IoTecha’s vision and its focus on building a full vertically-integrated platform for Smart EV Charging. Today, IoTecha’s portfolio spans from EV ISO15118 controller modules, EVSE ISO 15118 AC and DC V2G controller modules and white labels AC L2 EVSEs, to Site Controllers, and Cloud Services. Our Energy Management Cloud Services take full advantage of Plug & Charge and V2G capabilities of ISO15118.
The reinforcement of these standards through the NEVI Program will ensure that EV chargers from different manufacturers deployed on various networks function uniformly, enabling a consistent, reliable charging experience to users regardless of their vehicle brand or charging location.
This is an important step to improve the charging experience. Ultimately, standardized charging infrastructure will enhance the user experience for EV drivers, making it more convenient, accessible, and predictable, which will encourage more individuals to adopt electric vehicles and contribute to a more sustainable transportation system and future.
